May has arrived and I would love to take a month long vacation to the Caribbean with a new wardrobe…but, I must refrain. Self control is vital in today’s instant generation. We should remember to pause and think before we act or speak. Boundaries and self control go hand in hand. Temptations surround us every day! How good are you at exercising self control? To ensure you are exercising self control, place yourself under the control of the Holy Spirit. You will have God’s power and peace to keep you in line. Praying to God in the midst of temptation is the best way to keep His peace in your heart!
REMEMBER:
We should live in this evil world with self control, right conduct and devotion to God, while we look forward to that wonderful event when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. Titus 2:12-13

The Easter season is in full bloom and it is a wonderful time to reflect on life. Are you holding on to something that you should let go? Have you been wronged by someone or something? Unforgiveness harbors anger and bitterness. Forgiveness opens the door for a fresh start! Being forgiven and offering forgiveness are acts of love. Confession and repentance must come first. God has a great work to accomplish in each one of us. The best news is that no one is beyond the reach of God’s forgiveness!
Remember:
The God of all grace who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself, restore, support, strengthen and establish you. (1 Peter 5:10)
